A Swedish production directed by the experienced filmmaker Jimmy Olsson, it was compared by the Jury to a \u2018punch in the face\u2019 and brought into focus \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">for showing a different kind of protest film, from a poetic and humorous approach, to talk about human rights\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> For its part, the \u2018Jinete Ib\u00e9rico\u2019 International Danzante Award for Best Animation went to Russian <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/on-ne-mozhet-zhit-bez-kosmosa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>On ne mozhet zhit bez kosmosa<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> by Konstantin Bronzit; a short film able to shed \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">the superfluous to tell a deep story\u2019, a balance between style, drama and technique<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">The international jury consisting of Mexican filmmaker Celso Garc\u00eda, Spanish producer and filmmaker Chelo Loureiro and the director of Italian festival Concorto, Claudia Praolini, has awarded the French short film <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/odol-gorri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Odol Gorri<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> with the \u2018Francisco Garc\u00eda de Paso\u2019 Human Value Mention. Its director Charl\u00e8ne Favier manages to show in a \u2018powerful and honest\u2019 way the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">situation of<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> the centres of minors and expose the importance of this problem across the globe.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">In the Iberoamerican contest, Catalan filmmaker Jordi Boquet Claramunt wins the Danzante Award with his debut work <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/ni-oblit-ni-perdo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Ni oblit ni perd\u00f3<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">.<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">This short film, inspired by Guillem Agull\u00f3\u2019s posthumous history, has been awarded for its capability to highlight \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">a story that continues to be a current affair and for its capability of moving us and <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">generating debate\u2019. The second award of this contest, denominated \u2018Cacho Pallero\u2019, has gone to Colombian production <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/carmen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Carmen<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> de Ra\u00fal Guti\u00e9rrez, for \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">the mastery of cinematographic technique at the service of a story in which violence is terribly mundane\u2019, quoting the jury members<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> Cinespa\u00f1a festival director Alba Paz and the players Itziar Miranda and Nacho Rubio. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">The third of the contests, the documentary, has awarded Chilean Milena Castro\u2019s work, <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/julieta-y-la-luna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Julieta y la luna<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">. The work receives the Danzante Award for it \u2018for its delicate approach in dealing with family secrets\u2019, as well as for the creation of \u2018a ghostly and mysterious atmosphere\u2019. The jury, consisting of Marian Diaz from Spain (Instituto Cervantes), Witold Kon from Poland and Goya winning director Sergio Oskman from Brazil, has awarded the \u201cJos\u00e9 Manuel Porquet\u2019 Prize to <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/carne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Carne<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> by Brazilian Camila Kater; \u2018its honest account of five women\u2019s personal stories, its openness in talking about their relationship with their bodies, and its creative use of different animation techniques to create an astonishing portrait of womanhood\u2019 make it worthy of such distinction.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Regarding debut works, the festival youth jury -comprised by Luis Montull, Manuela Roig, Paola Bolea and Raquel Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez- awarded two works: Serbian <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/poslednja-slika-o-ocu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Poslednja slika o ocu <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">by<\/span><\/span><i> <\/i><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Stefan Djordjevic in the international category and Brazilian <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/amanha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Amanh\u00e3<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> by Aline Flores and Alexandre Crist\u00f3faro in the Iberoamerican one.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Finally, Best Screenplay, granted by Pablo Parra Cavagna and Selma Escalona, went to <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/a-la-cara\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>A la Cara<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> (Spain) by Javier Marco Rico. All films were eligible for the Audience Award, sponsored by Arag\u00f3n Televisi\u00f3n, that was received by Spanish short film <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gallant-agnesi.188-165-133-218.plesk.page\/en\/pelicula\/ferrotipos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><i>Ferrotipos<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> by N\u00fcll Garc\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">The awarded works of the 48<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> edition conclude an \u2018extraordinary\u2019 festival. Thus, the Upper Aragonese festival has become first European festival to screen on-site for the public, that was one of the main focus along with the online version and the drive-in cinema that have recovered the spirit of the \u2018film celebration\u2019 for the city as well as for thousands of followers at an international level. \u2018The answer of the audience, the industry and the
