The spot plays ironically on the age of the festival and the midlife crisis. The genuine protagonists of its mise-en-scene are the cake and the candles. Created by Huesca video producer \u2018DeD\u00eda Producciones\u2019, the ad aims to convey a fresh and intimate style, one of the fundamental pillars for the organisation of this event, a benchmark of Upper Aragon cultural life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next June, Huesca International Film Festival is going to held its 42nd edition (from the 16th to the 21st), an edition that will weigh heavily on the short film contests, those that throughout all its history worked as launching pad to major filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, another anniversary is celebrated in 2014, the 10th anniversary of the festival as shortlisting for the Oscar Awards, a recognition owned by only three other short film festivals in Spain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a total of 1782 submitted short films, out of which 689 are debut films, the festival has set itself the challenge of bringing closer to the city of Huesca all the program. El pasado domingo 20 de abril se cerr\u00f3 finalmente el plazo de recepci\u00f3n de trabajos para este concurso convocado por el Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca, con el patrocinio de la Fundaci\u00f3n Anselmo Pi\u00e9 Sopena y la colaboraci\u00f3n de la asociaci\u00f3n de escritores Aveletra y la Asociaci\u00f3n provincial de Librer\u00edas de Huesca.
