The objective is to provide tools and practical knowledge to the attendees when approaching a film project in our country (advantages of shooting in Spain, financing, production landscape, differences with other countries…).<\/p>\n

The session will be moderated by producer and director Gaizka Urresti<\/strong> and will feature a keynote speaker, Val\u00e9rie Delpierre<\/strong>, producer and creator of Inicia Films. It will also feature Natalia Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, Head of Content at Arag\u00f3n TV and member of the Arag\u00f3n Film Commission organization, Silvia Anoro<\/strong>, Deputy Director General for the Promotion of the Film and Audiovisual Industry (ICAA) at the Ministry of Culture, and the special attendance of Lucrecia Cardoso<\/strong>, Secretary of Cultural Development at the Ministry of Culture of Argentina.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”50546″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

VAL\u00c9RIE DELPIERRE<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In 2006, Valerie created Inicia Films with the aim of developing projects by new talents and focusing on their international projection. Since then, she has produced a large number of fiction feature films, documentaries, and short films. Recently, she premiered the fiction feature film 20,000 Species of Bees<\/i> directed by Estibaliz Urresola at the Berlinale, which was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Performance and received two Biznaga Awards (Best Film and Best Performance) at the M\u00e1laga Film Festival. Her most relevant recent projects are: The Maternal<\/i> by Pilar Palomero, Singing on the Rooftops<\/i> by Enric Ribes, Schoolgirls<\/i> by Pilar Palomero (her directorial debut), One for All<\/i> by David Ilundain, and Summer 1993<\/i> by Carla Sim\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Upcoming releases include Unicornios<\/i> by \u00c0lex Lora and Teresa <\/i>by Paula Ortiz. NATALIA MART\u00cdNEZ OLIV\u00c1N<\/strong><\/h5>\n

She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Until late 2005, she pursued her professional career at TVE-Arag\u00f3n, where she worked as a journalist, news and program presenter, news director, and deputy director. She was part of the founding team of Arag\u00f3n TV. From the beginning of the channel’s broadcasts until 2011, she coordinated the news services of the regional network. From 2012 until June 2021, she was responsible for the content at Arag\u00f3n TV. Currently, she heads the Department of Audiovisual Promotion and New Projects. She is an associate professor at the University of Zaragoza and a doctoral candidate. SILVIA ANORO<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Deputy Director General for the Promotion of the Film and Audiovisual Industry at the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) since November 2018. She joined the ICAA in November 2010, initially as the head of the File Evaluation Service, and from 2012 until 2018, as a technical advisor, always within the Deputy Director General for Promotion.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”50556″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

LUCRECIA CARDOSO<\/strong><\/h5>\n

She holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. She began her career in public policy management in the Cabinet of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003. At the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts, she served as the Manager of Federal Action, then Vice President, and finally President from 2014 to 2015. She also worked as the Executive Director of the Observatory of the Audiovisual and Infocommunications Sector and was one of the compilers of the book “Pol\u00edticas y producci\u00f3n audiovisual en la era digital en Am\u00e9rica Latina” (Policies and Audiovisual Production in the Digital Age in Latin America). Currently, she is in charge of the Secretariat of Cultural Development under the Ministry of Culture of Argentina.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”50548″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

GAIZKA URRESTI<\/strong><\/h5>\n

He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from UPV\/EHU and has a career spanning over 30 years as a producer, screenwriter, director, professor, and cultural manager in both film and television.<\/p>\n

He has directed 16 short films that have received over 100 national and international awards, including the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film in 2014 for Abstenerse agencias <\/i>(Agency Not Allowed). He has also directed five feature films, with the last two being Aute retrato<\/i> (2019), nominated for the Goya and Forqu\u00e9 Awards, and Labordeta: Un hombre sin m\u00e1s, <\/i>co-directed with Paula Labordeta, which has garnered over 30,000 viewers in theaters and won the Goya and Forqu\u00e9 Awards.<\/p>\n

As a producer, he has produced 37 short films and 11 feature films, including Incierta gloria<\/i> (Uncertain Glory, 2017) directed by Agust\u00ed Villaronga, and Goya 3 de mayo<\/i> (Goya May 3rd, 2021) directed by Carlos Saura.<\/p>\n
