Bread memories recount Shirin’s life in her hometown, Tehran. Through this sensory journey, she tells how bread has followed her personal history and that of Iran.
Roshanak Roshan
(Iran, 1975). After studying puppet theater at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran (Iran), Roshanak Roshan moved to France in 2007. She studied film directing at the National School of Audiovisual Arts in Toulouse (France). Her experiences with puppetry and filmmaking led her to discover the world of animation. Her films 21 Mars and Yalda have been selected for numerous national and international festivals.
