The director creates a psychological portrait of his mentor, who abandoned his previous life and relationships in order to fully devote himself to taking care of his dying mother. This film is an attempt to understand this extraordinary love and the psychological cost one pays for fully dedicating their life to a loved one.

Maciej Miller

Maciej Miller is a director and cinematographer born in 1994 in Olsztyn, Poland. He is a graduate of the Gdynia Film School. His diploma documentary Between Us was shown at nearly 30 international festivals, winning 11 awards. His next documentary, Tell Me My Story, was appreciated at various festivals, including one in Estonia. As a cinematographer, he received two nominations at the Camerimage Festival and was the cinematographer of a short film nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes.
