Confronted with the loss of their parental rights—or with court rulings that put those rights in jeopardy—mothers meet with actresses to share their experiences navigating the Youth Aid system. Together, they re-enact the systemic flaws that have gradually separated them from their children.

Flore Mercier, Sophie Breyer, Angèle Bardoux

Flore, Sophie, and Angèle met in 2020 at the cinema non-profit organization Anotherlight. In 2022, drawing on their background in the performing arts, they launched a directing project that led to the film Blameless. Sophie Breyer has also acted in several audiovisual projects. Flore Mercier is a singer and works in a continuing education program related to film. Angèle Bardoux works as an assistant director and casting director.
