EHIZA

Prequel to the folk tale Mateo Txistu. Basque Country, end of the 19th century. In a small village, the parish priest Mateo disappears without a trace. In response to the gossip of the villagers, the Archbishopric sends two priests to investigate the truth of the facts.

Aitzol Saratxaga

He combines his work as a director with the composition of soundtracks for fiction and his work as DIT and colorist in different productions. In 2017 he directed Ziren and later Basoan, work that he alternates with making music videos for groups such as Liher or Las Selvas. In 2022, he releases the short film Lanbroa. The project is selected by the Kimuak catalog, being able to be seen to date in competitions such as Alcine, San Sebastian Festival or Abycine. In 2024 he shoots Ehiza, his last short film.
