In a commercial neighborhood in the city of Buenos Aires, Yoni, a charismatic street vendor, is looking forward to a business venture that could change his life. Tomás Murphy

Tomás Murphy (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1986) holds a degree in Social Communication and works as an editor, screenwriter, and director. In 2024, he released the feature film Simón de la Montaña, in which he serves in the dual role of screenwriter and editor. This film received the Grand Prize of the Critics’ Week at Cannes. In 2019, he edited La siesta, a short film selected for the Official Competition at Cannes Film Festival and TIFF.
