In a ski resort in the Swiss Alps, Yasser works as a cleaner, sheltered from the persecution of the Syrian regime but far from his family stuck in Lebanon. His encounter with Galyna, a Ukrainian refugee, makes him realize the weight of his years in exile.

Aude Sublet

Aude Sublet grew up in the Swiss mountains. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema from the ECAL in Lausanne in 2016. Her diploma film Like Wolves was screened in Palm Spring, the Short Film Corner in Cannes and TAUF in Tel Aviv. She then obtained a master’s degree in the Middle East Studies in Geneva in 2018, before working both on film sets and for NGOs in the Middle East.
