Álex is blocked. He tries to understand his place in the world, his masculinity, his role in caring, the origin of the noises in his grandfather’s dreams. Lucia is blind from birth. She guides Alex.

Fon Cortizo

Fon Cortizo (Vigo, Spain, 1978) received the award for best international film at the Gijon Film Festival in 2020 for his first fiction feature, 9 Fugues. He has written and directed short films and documentaries such as Contrafaces (2015), Aysha (2016), Americano (2017) and Bumblebee (2024). His work has been screened at festivals such as Shanghai, New Horizons, Visions du Reel, Moscow and Zinebi. He currently manages the film project development residence, Conecta Lab, on the island of San Simón.
