UNA TORRETA EN LLAMAS

After a violent confrontation, a wounded soldier is rescued by Yolanda, an elderly farmer, and her granddaughter Alejandra. After hiding him in their ranch, Yolanda must decide whether she should help him, risking their own lives, while Alejandra pursues her own suspicions.

Humberto Flores Jáuregui

Mexican director, editor, and post-producer. His short film, Fifth of June (2021), won a Special Mention at the 19th Morelia International Film Festival. His next work, David (For Now) (2024), was filmed under the consultancy of Apichatpong Weerasethakul during the Creator’s Lab by Playlab Films, and had its international premiere at the True/False Film Fest 2025. He’s currently distributing the short film A Burning Turret (2025) and developing his first feature film, Manuel (or The Void).
